Amanda Kohls serves as the Digital Media Executive for GPS Dairy Consulting, where she leads the company’s communications, digital marketing, and brand strategy. From managing GPS’s website, social media presence, podcasts, newsletters, and event marketing to developing creative campaigns and supporting consultants with strategic communications, Amanda helps connect dairy producers with practical, research-based information and consultants.
Amanda’s path into agriculture began at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she discovered a passion for the dairy industry while earning bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Life Sciences Communication, along with a minor in African Studies. Since graduating in 2017, she has built a diverse background spanning hands-on dairy experience, forage research, agricultural journalism, and video production. Those experiences shaped her passion for translating technical information into engaging stories that educate and create lasting impact.
In addition to her role with GPS, Amanda serves as Executive Officer for Dairy Girl Network, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and connecting women in dairy. Her work across both organizations reflects a shared commitment to helping dairy businesses and the people behind them grow, lead, and thrive.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Association of Women in Agriculture, a member of Young Dairy Leaders Institute Class 12, and remains passionate about elevating agriculture through authentic storytelling and creative communication.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, discovering new Bloody Marys through her review blog, spending time outdoors and traveling. She and her husband, Lance, live in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with their two corgis, Otis and Nova.
