Douglas Duhatschek, PhD, BVetMed, is passionate about helping dairies improve profitability by maximizing forage value, developing people, and turning farm data into action. Originally from Brazil, he earned his veterinary degree before working in dairy production, extension, research, and technical services throughout the Americas. His background includes extension work in southwest Kansas, PhD research at Texas A&M University focused on sorghum silage and alternative forage systems, and supporting dairy producers across the United States through training, data analysis, and management consulting.

Known for his work with sorghum silage, Douglas helps producers connect farm data, people, and management decisions to achieve measurable results. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, he enjoys helping every member of the dairy team contribute to success.
